Artist Interview: Rubee Stone aka Rubee B

New York City is thriving with upcoming talent and if you haven't checked in with Rubee Stone aka Rubee B today is the day you should. Check out her latest interview with Du'Lanci Vallie below.

What do you think makes you stand out from all the other aspiring and upcoming artists in your genre of music?

I stand out jus by being me. And I’m very different. My attitude, my style, the way I talk just everything about me. Do you prefer the Independent route or would you rather sign to a major record label, and why? Independent has been doing justice for me I can make music whenever I want, drop music whenever I want and just be me. What is your latest release and where fans can find it?

My latest release is my album “takeover” it’s on every music platform which includes Spotify, apple, YouTube etc,

What do you think is your biggest Advantage and your biggest Disadvantage about being an Indie artist?

My biggest advantage is my voice. I can speak to people with my music and they actually listen. I don’t need no one telling me what I can say and what I can’t say. My disadvantage is that I have to spend all my own money by myself which is costly to become an artist like me by yourself. What would you consider your most successful or proudest moment in your music career, so far?

My most successful and proudest moment I’m my music career is being right next to big artist and jus hanging with them like we all the same. I’ve been around fetty wap, unclemurda, jadakiss big producers, promoters and just being able to learn from them. Are you able to make a living with your music? If so, how were you able to attain a career doing what you love? If not, what do you do in order to fund your music career? What advice would give to someone who's interested in pursuing a career in music?

Right now I’m still in the beginning stages of my music career. It takes 10 years to really make it and I’ve heard this from artist that is jus being seen. Don’t think you can make a record and tomorrow it’s gonna buss. It takes a lot of funding and networking to make that record buss. My advice to any artist stay consistent and don’t give up.

What is on your agenda or what can fans expect to see from you in 2022?

Tour and tours and shows and shows.
